70m streams and billboard charts...

TOGETHER WITH UNDERGROUND SOUND

GM ganggg! Back with another exclusive interview with one of the hottest producers in the underground right now, Zuko.

After accumulating over 70 million streams on “One Call” & hitting the billboard charts, we figured it’d be the perfect time to tap in with him and get some insight.

Let us know what you think and (if you’re already an All Access subscriber) remember to tap into the Instagram group.

Onto the interview 🤝

Who are you? What do you do in the industry?

My name Zuko. I’m a producer + DJ + engineer from NY. I make a lot of records for ur favorite artists.

Zuko

What advice do you have for upcoming artists trying to break into the industry?

Honestly it sound dumb but every person i know with any success in the industry is one of the hardest-working people i know. Making sure u don’t gotta plan B n jus figurin out how 2 make shit shake is mad important.

also underrated skill is rly being able to read the room n not b fanned out around mfs ur a fan of.

i see too many ppl that r mad talented but got nooo game n b approaching rappers in the club on some “yo i make beats” shit.

i was friends with mad rappers for months before i ever made a song with them n tbh it made my relationships with them a million times stronger and the music sooo much better

What’s the biggest turning point in your career trajectory?

tbh it’s been in a lot of big stages but the biggest so far has def been one call.

i feel like for a while i was just being seen with everyone and i was in mad music vids etc but people hadn’t rly heard the music i made w their fav artists cause it was unreleased or just on SoundCloud.

but the run i went on producing midwxst album followed up by the skai and fazo singles until we eventually dropped ghetto fabulous and one call has been the biggest changing point in my life.

shit turned me up fr and gave me an opportunity to show people what expensive percussion rly is

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
