The UGS five year anniversary show was crazy, and such a stellar pivot to round out the Cypher hype too. The Underground is in great hands and growing by the day. This week was not a boring one, per usual. Instead we’ve witnessed K3 blowing up, Kai reacted to Benji’s cypher verse while beating music stylist allegations. Nine is at the forefront of the Underground right now. Yes he’s Thug’s Nephew, but his sound is refreshing. We’d be lying if we say we didn’t hear traits of Thugger, but this is a newer youthful feeling coming from our protagonist. TBH we haven’t seen hype like this from the UG and it seems to be the consensus he’s the favorite. With infectious energy and samples you could only clear by being signed to YSL, this kid is def up to something. Don’t sleep on Nine.
