Lazer Dim 700 has exploded onto everyone’s radar over the last couple of weeks and he’s now at the forefront of the underground. Maybe it’s the fact his music isn’t mixed properly, but that doesn’t deter people from loving his sound. It might be the fact that this new era of DIY rappers appeals to the common everyday listener, as opposed to chasing the approval of the industry. But in turn, this has made him a hot commodity in every “A&R” meeting across the board. You can hear shades of Nudy melded with Glokk, but Lazer is just Lazer. This is a new style of Rap pushes the boundaries even further with every release.

We’ve made it through another week of debauchery but as the days grow longer, we’re that much closer to an actual Carti album (or maybe even tour).
